CONFERENCE THEME

Accelerating Business Agility through Agile Transformation

Currently, on account of the numerous technological disruptions and the remarkable changes in the business environment coupled with the ever changing expectations of customers, the focus on "Business Agility" has taken center stage across various domains & Industries.

The spotlight on "Agile Transformation" which at a high level primarily focuses on the change occurring in the mindset of the people so that they imbibe the ability to become agile in their thinking leads to the creation of an agile culture that results in business agility and enhanced business efficiency.

The interlinking of the above two concepts also underlines the main theme of our conference which is -- Accelerating Business Agility through Agile Transformation

Keeping in mind the above scenario. ANI is conducting this conference to bring together practitioners of business agility and agile transformation from various industries and domains so that they may learn from each other and succeed more effectively at enhancing customer delight.

Business Agility

Business agility refers to the capability of a business system to quickly respond to change by altering its initial stable configuration. It can be sustained by adjusting to the changes in a business environment, maintaining and adapting goods and services in meeting customer demands and taking advantage of the people available. Business agility embraces change.Business agility changes how you think, how you work and the way you interact with people.

Business agility refers to distinct qualities that allow organisations to respond rapidly to changes in the internal and external environment without losing momentum or vision. Adaptability, flexibility and balance are three qualities essential to long-term business agility

In a business context, agility is the ability of an organization to rapidly adapt to market and environmental changes in productive and cost effective ways. An extension of this concept is the agile enterprise which refers to an organization that uses key principles of complex adaptive systems and complexity science in achieving success. Business agility is the outcome of organizational intelligence.

Technical Agility

Technical Agility evolves the technical culture, processes and tools toward quality and efficiency. Technical Agility includes Vision and Architecture, Technical Excellence and Innovation, Software and Tools and DevOps and Continuous Delivery. It is the ability to quickly and smoothly adapt to or integrate current technologies with newer, unique, disruptive, expansive or convergent technologies.

Agile Transformation and Coaching

Agile Transformation is the process of transforming an organization's culture and nature toward agility. Transformation is about a fundamental change in the way people think and feel. The focus is through a sustained change and improvement methodology that is accomplished through agile coaching leading to an agile mindset and the implementation of agile methods across an organization. Agile coaching means an experienced agile coach works closely with an organization to improve the product or service development/maintenance/enhancement agility along with inculcating an agile mindset in the members of the organization.

Evolution of Business Agility in Banking and Fintech

The focus of this topic is on the evolution of the banking and Fintech industryand how business agility impacted the evolution of this industry. As the market environment changed, how did the evolution of business agility enabled the Banking and Fintech organizations to cope with the changes is the focus of the topic area.

Survivability of Enterprises in the VUCA world

As the world became more complex, uncertain, volatile and ambiguous, how did the enterprises manage to survive in such a scenario forms the topic of this panel discussion. The focus is on the ability of the enterprises to survive and also thrive in a VUCA world and what are the key characteristics that enable such organizations to survive in such a scenario.

Innovation beyond tools in nurturing Technical Agility

The role of innovation beyond the focus on tools and how it helps to nurture technical agility is the subject of this panel discussion. Innovation beyond tools implies how can mindset facilitate the nurturing of technical agility apart from the usage of tools which is a defacto requirement of technical agility. This also includes DevOps which facilitates technical agility and how we can look at innovating beyond tools to nurture technical agility.

Impact of leadership in transforming Personal and Enterprise Agility

How does leadership impact the transformation of personal and enterprise agility is the topic of discussion for this panel. Personal agility refers to how a person demonstrates positive attitude, resilience and openness to changes in an organization's scientific, technological, commercial or business environment, processes and structure. In a business context, Personal Agility can enable the members of the organization to achieve high alignment and transparency about goals, forecasts and milestones achieved. It applies the agile concepts beyond the workplace and it helps people identify what matters most in their lives and ensure that their actions align with their goals. Enterprise Agility means the ability to adapt easily to change and it is the rapidity with which an organization reacts successfully to the emergence of new competitors, abrupt shifts in the overall market conditions and adaptation of industry-changing technologies. Enterprise Agility emerges when there is an agile way of working across many teams and divisions in the organization.
