Session Overview

In 20+ years in the Indian IT industry, I considered myself an expert in all facets of IT. So when I got an opportunity to set up a GCC from incorporation to steady state delivery in India for a US Media products company - what could possibly go wrong? Turns out, plenty.

This is an experience report of the change in perspective from having been a service provider to companies globally, to being a partner with one. The session details the changes in expectation, the perceived value of the India story, and building alignment across the seas. We'll look at why the backlog is not the only value delivery mechanism - how expectations, behaviour and value changes from ODCs to GCCs.
