Senior Advisor, Managing Director ex-Deutsche Bank

Sandhya has played many roles within Deutsche Bank: the latest being the Divisional Control Officer for APAC & Globally for Corporate Services [Global Procurement & Real Estate].

From 2014 Sandhya was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Deutsche Bank Group in India. She was also the Chief Risk Officer for the bank in India for a few years. Prior to this she was Head of DBOI [ Deutsche India Private Ltd wef from April 2021] while also being the Global Head of Business Engineering and subsequently Global Head of Strategy and Architecture for Process.

Sandhya was the Managing Director of Thomson Reuters’s off-shored business from 2001 to 2010, where she grew the team from 200 to 9000. She was also responsible India Sales for a couple of years. In 2008, when Thomson acquired Reuters, she was responsible for merger of the 2 organisations in India. Later she became part of Thomson Reuters’ Global Strategy team looking at rapidly developing markets to build knowledge economies in partnership with governments.

Prior to this, Sandhya set up the off-shored operations for Guardian Royal Exchange which became part of Axa, the French insurance group. During this period she was actively involved in a number of strategic programs: business plan for the insurance business in India, Claims leakage; miss-selling in the UK in the 80s, Client services institute in the UK to name a few.

In her early career she worked for the TVS Group managing their in-house finance companies in various roles: building enterprise applications, share market operations.
